Getting Started with Finac: Sign In and Dashboard

Finac is built to make compliance instant: upload a bank statement or a bill, and Finac takes care of the accurate processing, so your ledgers, tax filings, and compliance forms stay current without manual entry. This article covers the first steps every new user needs — signing in and understanding the layout of a client workspace — before you upload your first document.

Signing in

Go to your Finac portal and sign in with your registered mobile number, or with your email address and password. New users see a short welcome message; returning users are taken straight back to where they left off.

The Finac sign-in screen.

Note: The Login button stays disabled until you tick “I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.”

Your clients list

Once you sign in, you land on the Clients List — every business whose books you manage in Finac, shown as a card with its client code, name, and location.

  • Use the search bar to jump to a client by name, code, or location.
  • Use the sort dropdown in the top right to reorder the list, for example by client code.

Opening a client dashboard

Click any client card to open that business's Client Dashboard — the hub for everything Finac does for that client. Each tile opens a distinct module:

  • Invoicing Advanced — expense invoices, sales invoices, other entries, manufacturing journals, and bank statement uploads.
  • File Manager — a central place to upload, store, and organize client documents.
  • Job Tracker — track the status of work in progress for the client.
  • Insights — real-time summaries of the client's financial data.
  • Open Items — outstanding document requests and their status.
  • Reports — financial statements (Ledger, Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, and more), management reports, and stock reports.
  • GST — outward supplies, input tax credit, and GSTR filings in one place.
  • Settings, Client ID/Password Manager, Fixed Asset Register, and SOPs — supporting tools for day-to-day account management.

The Client Dashboard — every module for a client, one click away.

Note: Tiles shown with a “Request Access” overlay, such as Portfolio Management or Statutory Compliance, are modules not yet enabled for this account. Contact your Finac administrator to enable them.

With sign-in and navigation covered, the next article walks through the core of Finac's promise — uploading a bank statement and having it processed automatically.
