How to Upload a Bank Statement in Finac

Uploading Bank Statements and Bills

This is where Finac's promise starts: upload a bank statement, and Finac reviews, matches, and tracks the transactions in it — no manual data entry required. This article shows where to find the upload screen for a client and what to expect once you're there.

Open Invoicing Advanced

From the Client Dashboard, open the Invoicing Advanced tile. This is where all of a client's financial documents live — expense invoices, sales invoices, other entries, and manufacturing journals — organized as tabs across the top.

Find Upload Bank Statement under + Other

With the Expense Invoices tab selected, click the + Other button in the top right. A small menu opens with two options: Create Other Entries, and Upload Bank Statement.

The + Other menu, with Upload Bank Statement as the second option.

Select Upload Bank Statement to open the upload screen for this client.

The Upload Bank Statement screen

This screen (currently tagged Beta) lists every bank statement uploaded for the client, with search, filter, and sort controls above the list. On a new client, it starts empty, with a prompt to upload your first statement.

Note: The exact upload interaction, supported file formats, and the review/matching screen once a statement has been processed will be covered in a follow-up update to this article, once a sample statement has been uploaded and captured.

Once a statement is uploaded and processed, its transactions feed directly into the client's ledgers and reports.
